This will be Ezra's second pumpkin. But, this is the first one he picked out himself. Saturday we set out for a foggy Half Moon Bay, enduring heavy traffic to enjoy a little Pumpkin Harvest Festival at Arcata Farms. We found that E is quite a particular kind of guy about his pumpkins, amongst other things.....
First off, we had to take in all the orange.
We went through mazes of corn stalks to get to this one....The One.
Ezra and his pumpkin go on a wagon ride.
No, wait! No sitting, I wanna push!
And, heck, give me the keys! I might as well drive too!

He looks so much like you, Jackie. Totally adorable!!
We tried going to the Pumpkin fest at Half Moon Bay, but the traffic was too much of a deterent. We ended up going to this place on the Delta. You take a 12 minute train ride to a pumpkin patch that is only accesible by train. It was a lot of fun: pumpkins, pumpkin tassing, hay rides, hay maze, 4h petting zoo, etc. We stayed for almost 5 hours.
How did E like the Santa Cruz Boardwalk? We have yet to take the lad there.
Hey I started a kids band called The Time Outs. We're playing an event called Pip Squeak A-Go-Go, a dance for party for tots put on by The Devilettes. Its Saturday 11/4 at the Rickshaw Stop on Fell.
Hope all is well.
